Pan American Companies was founded in 1990 to create a multi-disciplined full service real estate development and investment firm that would raise the bar in project delivery with innovative, value driven projects throughout South Florida. Today, Pan American has established itself as the second largest industrial land developer in Miami-Dade County and has developed, built, owned, and managed almost every type of real estate product.

CARLOS C. LOPEZ-CANTERA

is the President of Pan American Companies and oversees all aspects of its real estate development, investments and financing. In addition to his vast real estate development experience, Mr. Lopez-Cantera’s career includes work in land planning and architectural design, engineering, and was a Board Member of the Department of Professional Regulation, Construction Industry Licensing Board from 1988-1994. Mr. Lopez-Cantera is also actively involved in community service organizations. He chaired the Board of Directors at the Jackson Memorial Foundation and serves on both the Performing Arts Center Trust and the Florida Grand Opera Board.

CARLOS M. LOPEZ-CANTERA

is the Executive Vice-President of Pan American Companies. He leads Pan American’s Industrial Development Division where he is responsible for all aspects of project development including, contract negotiations, entitlements processes and construction management. He has been part of the organization since 1998. Beyond his experience in real estate development, he has served in several public offices. Carlos served as the 19th Lieutenant Governor of Florida (2014-2019), Property Appraiser of Miami-Dade County (2013-2014) and as a Member of the Florida House of Representatives (2004-2012) Majority Leader (2010-2012). He has also served on the Board of Governors of Citizens Property Insurance, as a Member of the Florida Elections Commission and as Statewide Chairman of the Florida Federal Judicial Nominating Commission.

MONICA CANTERA-SERRALTA

heads both the Property Management and Brokerage Services at Pan American Companies. She has been a real estate broker for over fifteen years and has managed properties for over fifteen years. Throughout her career, Mrs. Cantera-Serralta has administered daily operations of over 600,000 square feet of industrial, residential, and retail properties in South Florida, helping buyers and tenants accomplish the desired outcome on their properties.

ADRIAN RIVAS

is a real estate professional with 7 years of experience in industrial, retail, and residential development and sales. Holds a Finance degree from FIU and an MBA, combining strong financial insight with hands-on industry expertise.

ROLANDO J. ENCINOSA, JR.

is Pan American Companies’ Engineering and Land Development Project Manager. Prior to joining Pan American Companies, Mr. Encinosa worked as a Project Engineer for the State of Florida Department of Transportation and was an Estimator and Pipe Superintendent for D. M. P. Corporation; he is also the Principal of Complete Development, Inc. His extensive experience in management of the performance and coordination of contractors, engineers, and consultants plays an integral role in our project analysis and valuation of site engineering alternatives.

JENNIFER ARAGON

began her career in real estate ten years ago, specializing in loan originations and condo conversion sales/management in Miami, Coral Gables, Orlando and Tampa. Since joining Pan American Realty Services, Mrs. Aragon’s attention to detail and her distinguishing knowledge of the market and buyer/tenant needs has greatly contributed to our real estate sales/management divisions. A performance-driven, intensely dedicated team player, she is always eager to contribute to the overall success of company projects.
